Spiral Dragon.

before ya skip down to the picture let me tell you this is just a "prototype", i fish a modified fly rod with a spinning reel and "if" and when i do catch big fish i am always grabbing up on the blank to get more pull on it.

i dont like rods with a second forgrip (just looks to bulkie) and i dont like rods with a long forgrip half way up the rod.

so after some thought i came up with my spiral eva grip but it looked kind of plain and funny so i added Mr Dragon thus the name

and the guide wrap i believe is called "High heel", and yes it was a bear to do, i dont recommend doing the spiral grip unless you want to learn new cuss words, heheh

That is very unique. The dragon scale really looks great under the spiral. You are thinking outside the box.

that would be my worst nightmare , not thinking.
here lately i have been thinking "more red fish" but some where along the line i lost the thought and cant seem to find it,heheh.

i will say that rod is extremely light and so vary sensitive to the bite, had a rat red hit it that was about 12" long and it felt like a fright train it it.
its a fun rod for sure.

Pretty cool dude. like to know about the highheel wrap. I bet u did invent some new expletives cutting that grip
