yes we "tried fishing yesterday" and it sucked all three places but at the last place over on 2nd street in Hitch****.

we saw this young man standing on the bow of his boat and looking like he was just trolling along .( the boat looked like one of them wide shallow running things with a tower on it about 10 ft tall)

we asked him "how was fishing", he's replied that he was going out and hit something and lost his lower unit but he was ok .

well about 20 minuets later we decided to pack it in, and as w were leaving we saw the guy at the ramp bailing out water as fast as he could, well we had to help so i got all of my buckets and went to the boat .

he had it backed in and grounded on the motor so it would not sink and the stern but he was already ankle deep and you could see water poring in like a fire hose was turned on.

the kid had already backed the trailer down on the other side of the two separate launches but the boat was taking on so much water he could not get it around the corner and on to the trailer.

just then 2 more young guys came up to help and we manages to get enough water out to move the boat out and around to where the trailer was but just as we got it to the trailer it went under and started to flip (top heavy tower).

i told the kid to get in the truck and nail it, he did and we saved the boat from flipping but the new truck could not pull the boat out due to all the water in it.

we let it drain for a while and proceeded to pull it out more and thats when we saw the bottom , what ever the guy hit damaged to prop hub and one of the boats drain hole plug and surrounding area was ripped out and it was a huge area about the size of a #2 wash bucket.

the irony of it all was it was a maiden voyage and he was sponsored by the boat builder - i call him a kid but i'd say he was 35 -40 or so and was shook up quite a bit but he was back on dry ground.
