BBQ Cook-off

My son and I competed in the San Jacinto Festival Cook-off in West Columbia today. We took 1st place in beans, 2nd place in brisket and 3rd place in chicken. We were beat out for overall champion by 1 point. We did good.

We started in 2009. We have been lucky, we have never entered a cook-off that we didn't place in something. It is a lot of work but it is fun.
