I'm new to the site here. I have been building & repairing rods for over 30 years. Mostly as just a hobby. Something to do on a rainy day. I usually give the rods I build away to friends and family as gifts. I look forward to learning a few new tricks from you pros !

I also write some for Coastal Angler Magazine & will be doing an article on rod crafting & also "Rods for Soldiers" after the first of the year.

I also have a son who builds rods & has actually taken his love for it a step further than I ever have & has a side business building rods.

Will do Pat. I would like to maybe after the first of the year schedule a time to meet & pick your brain a little about "Rods for Soldiers" and rod crafting. I also am supposed to set up a meeting with Allen Pierce. I have been saving a few pictures to a file that I can also use in the article as well.

Kevin (or Buzz as we call him) is one of the best "flounder fisherman i know", but then he cheats, he lives in Freeport heheh.
