look out Pat , go hide  ol Terry G is brain storming again on Elk horn .

its gona be one of them "OH GOD not that, where  can we hide this rod?" , hahah

i have changed my mind so many times i had to get "off the pot so to say!"
now i'll start the eyes.

heheh, thanks Pat but no thanks that took a week to shape, bore it out to accept the reel aft section and do the scrimshaw work on it.

plus its bored to only fit that rod's diameter..

Rusty, look at that last pic i also made a winding check for it out of Elk but its not very noticeable in the picture.

Wow Terry,
We must be related (don't take that as an insult, I'm not a bad guy).
I make marlin trolling lures from antler material...I usually sand down the brown bumpy part--but it sure looks good on your rods.
