I am in the process of building myself a new spinning rod out of scrap pieces...I dug the buttcap out of the trashcan...and the foregrip, you can see, I have pieced it together...and the rodblank, is a blemished St.Croix I picked up in Park Falls...
BUT..... I did buy myself a new spinning reel for it..!!...And I have some spinnerbaits that a friend made for me to use with this rod !!..
those are some nice looking spinnerbaits your friend sent you, are they marketed thru any stores?

Your right Doug..I am going to enjoy this new rod and the spinnerbaits.....there are not in any store..they are made one at a time..by my friend in Wisconsin... Still have to put the guides on and wrap it...and then it will be ready for some action !!..Woo-Hooo !!
