sure is quiet in here

i guess every one is working one new rods or hopefully fishing.

we went fishing Friday, ya nothing to brag about but i did use that rod i built from the first FTU rod building class and all i can say about it is i still love its action and looks.

i tried a thread inlay last night, man i dont see some of you people can do the 1 or 2 or 3 thread inlays and make them hold !

must be my fat fingers .

Yep, I took my 25 Parker out yesterday. Loaded up on Rockfish and trolled for Thresher Shark. Beautiful day on the water, 1-2' swell (nothing) and sunny and warm about 68. Rough day for sure.

Been busy with yard work...cutting grass...and cutting more grass...and still more grass !!!furious....

Getting ready for a plumber to come tear up my living room fllor to repair a sewer line break in the slab...just call it Murphy's Law in Action !!...no....Cost will be $2000.00..plus it cost $250.00 an hour to run a camera in the line...I'll tell you guys, we are in the WRONG business..!!( I asked the plumber if he anything for $19.95 !!)biggrin

Planning to visit my brother, sometime next month, who is undergoing more chemo...and that depends if I have any money left over from the plumber...no

Seems like life just gets in the way of building rods or going fishin'..!!
