Just a reminder about our Annual Rod builders Day at the Gulf Freeway store! It is March 26th and goes on all day! We will have vendors reps from FUJI, REC (Recoil), Bullard (D2), Flex Coat, and St. Croix. There will be seminars all day by the Factory reps.
For those interested learning to build rods, the day will open with a basic primer on rod building at 10:00am. We will go over what it takes to build your own custom rod and what you need to get started.
All seminars are free and all Rod Components will be 10 - 15% off at both stores
 
Seminar Schedule:
10:00 AM – Rod building Basics - Learn what it takes to build a rod and the cost for equipment
11:30 AM – Flex Coat
1:00   PM – St Croix – Learn about their Product line and basic Rod blank construction
2:30   PM – REC – Recoil guides and reel seats
4:00   PM – Bullard – Diamond 2 Epoxies and new Products
 
 
We also still have our Rod Building Classes going on. This Saturday we have the “Basic Weave Class” at 1:00pm. It will be a demo with some hands on. Please let me know if you want to attend. Class is free.
