They are absolutely fantastic for lure making.
Even someone like me can produce a reasonably nice lure.
I am a 100 ton licenced Master / Captain, and former commercial tuna fisherman (hook and handline, and liftpole).
These lures , which I call "BTS" (Big Tuna Squids) have caught me some fine tuna and wahoo, and even a striped marlin or two.
The bottom Sevenstrand lure is shown for size comparison.
