Sorry about being a bit MIA lately!

Unfortunately when you are head chief and bottle washer there are times when you are holding 3 fingers up and going down for the count---it seems that way anyway. Tons of new stuff coming in that I have been trying to get listed on the website, along with lots and lots going on.

Here are a few things on the cook stove:

·         We are adding 3 new dealers and now have an official European Distributor--- this takes a bit of work to accomplish all that entails.

·         Adding many new items to our current inventory, including pigments, and our new lines of thread.

·         Have finally put on an extra person to help me out.

·         We are still looking for a spot to either build or buy for office space.

·         We have spoken to two major rod manufacturers about building blanks for us next year.

·         I have been working with an engineer on the design of a new rod wrapper.

·         Many new things on the horizon for RFS.

·         Looks like we found someone to spool our nylon thread Woo hoo!!

·         Lots of shows on the calendar for next yearone will be in the UK.

·         We will also be taking on some really creative new specialty items, such as a Buffalo Horn Burnisher. You will see many unique items offered next year by individual artisans.

·         We have supported many groups, churches and the military who are teaching the time-honored craft of rod building. Our plan is to expand that next year.

This is to give you an idea of what is going on and what is to come. I am hoping to get a better handle on things and have more time to dedicate to the forums than I have.

Merry Christmas to everyone and have a very safe and Happy New Year!!!!
