Some day i'll be close to being as good as some of you guys out there, but meanwhile here is my donated rod for the RFS program.
and yes you can pick out some things i need to improve on and let me know.

The scrimshaw is terrific. I know that you took some time with that. I have never thought about wrapping the reelseat hoods. That is unique. Good work.

whew!, thought for sure i was gona get laughed out of town, i know my work needs more practice .
but heheh all i wanted to do when i started the rod building gig was learn how to repair my own rods .

well guys i am not quite sure as i have never seen any thing like a wrapped hood's but your all welcome to try it and maybe improve on it.

just make sure you dont epoxy the tightening nut to the hood, heheh
