I am holding up the production of the Bullard Brushes because I have yet to name each brush. HELP!! I want to name each brush in a way that would clearly show the use for each brush, making it useful to a novice or pro.
Here are the sizes: ·round tip between 1/16 and 1/32 ·1/8 in. flat ·¼ in. flat ·3/8 in. flat ·½ in. flat ·9/16 in. flat (possibly---jury is still out on this one) ·3/8 in. angled flat
Okay possible names:
1/16 in. - Round Brush Tunnel Brush 1/8 in. Micro Guide Brush or Pinner ¼ in. Saltwater Guide Brush 3/8 in. Underwrap 38 Special
Anything you guys can do to help would really be appreciated. I have said this all along, these are your brushes and I want them to be something that a rod builder will identify with and can depend on. We have gone to great lengths to make sure that these will be something you all are not only proud to add to your arsenal, but that will hold up and do a beautiful job for you.
I got my samples in about a week ago and they are really a nice brush and we will make sure we keep the prices very competitive for everyone.
Thank you everyone!

Terry, as creative as you are I know you have some ideas!! You have to do better than that. LOL
Do you think we need the 9/16"? I am still unsure about that one.

Most of us rodbuilders are dumb***s and don't know what a specific brush should be used for. We just pick a brush that would do what we want it to do. If you name them as you have done, for their intended use then we would better understand the application of the specific brush. Do you have rodbuilders glue? How is the thread thing working out? You can log on to metroemb.com and see their thread selection. It has silicone on it but maybe you could find out if you can buy it without the silicone. Pat
You are too funny Pat! Yes, we get our first shipment next week and have another shipment of 4 oz spools coming for those who really go through thread. We have some new "Fade" thread in 13 different color selections. I have 72 solid colors coming in next week as well. You will need CP with these.
I will have a NON CP thread coming in either next week or the week following and hope to have close to the 72 colors I mentioned above.
Nylon thread and Metallics are slower coming for the simple reason that the supplier doesn't seem to work on our expected schedule. I have high expectations from any supplier we use because I know our customers have high expectations of us. We won't play the backorder game, or get to you when we can game, so it has been more difficult finding a supplier that is a good fit for us here in the States.
I am still working on a good source for the thread we spoke about over the weekend.
