MaryLou asked me to conduct a test by freezing applied epoxy on a rod. I wrapped a piece of rod blank, finished it with DIAMOND II (2 coats, no CP) and then cut the rod down to about 12 inches long.

The rod went into the freezer, and out, and in, and out---so on and so on. I have been doing this for several weeks now and after viewing with a loop I don't see any sign of the edge pulling up or shrinking or cracking--completely clear with no cloudiness, red white and blue thread perfectly bright. It looks as good as it did the first time into the freezer.
