work out for the scrimshaw rod


went yesterday to a new place (Baytown Nature Center) , whew was it hot but second cast it was a winner, i thi'll go back to that place.

only one that was a keeper got there late and left at 10:30 , got to hot for me with no breeze.

we got a lot of pin fish, croker, and a catfish (flat head cat).

Thanks Paul, yes it was fun but she i think has finely cracked the cork grip all the way around now just back of the horn .

had a suggestion that i could cut out that section and take some cork rings and split them and re glue them back on the rod but i think i'll wind up with the same problem, dont know...

might try and split some eva and epoxy it there but heheh sure will look funny...
