Rod #2 - First Spiral Rod

Here is my next jigging rod. It has a reversed chevron "flames" wrap of red, orange and yellow with a metallic red under wrap. Completed just in time for a trip to Port A this weekend.

The trip to Port A was good with calm seas both days but very hot. Manged to catch my best snapper to date with lengths of 24.5 and 28.5 inches. Both new rods worked great. Initially took some grief from the other guys with the spiral design as they had never heard of that before. They thought I had been drinking when I put the guides on. However after pulling up a few fish they had to admit it worked very well.

Besides the limits of snapper managed to get a ling and a few chicken dolphins.
