Rod #3...getting beter I think!!


I was going for an Aztec color scheme. Still need more practice with the finish. I think my problem is that I am a "little intimidated" knowing that it is hard to correct any mistakes at this point.
I'll be testing it out this week end. Hope I catch somethin.

Larry, your work looks great. Don't let finishing intimidate you. It's one of the easiest and quickest steps in rod building. It was very intimidating to me when I started building rods. The more I've done the more I've learned to really enjoy the finishing process. It's the icing on the cake!
