I was going for an Aztec color scheme. Still need more practice with the finish. I think my problem is that I am a "little intimidated" knowing that it is hard to correct any mistakes at this point. I'll be testing it out this week end. Hope I catch somethin. Hope ya'll like it.
Larry, your work looks great. Don't let finishing intimidate you. It's one of the easiest and quickest steps in rod building. It was very intimidating to me when I started building rods. The more I've done the more I've learned to really enjoy the finishing process. It's the icing on the cake!
