1.dont use 5 min epoxy on rod eyes 2.wash the rod after sanding 3.dont rap the eyes then use dirty fingers to wipe the dust off. its 8'8" and its an old Gladdings South Bend "White Knight" but it didnt turn out real bad.- coments ?

5minute epoxy aint so bad if you remember to thin it first with acetone. I know some will be horrified at that idea. But you ought to try it once. It really does work quite well in a pinch and you don't have the build up problem on the guides. It gives you enough time to put it in the dryer and for it to level before it dries.
