Arroyo City/SPI 5/7/10

Here's a couple of the bigger trout we caught out of Arroyou City last weekend. These were caught on a 7'11" Castaway 965 crankbait blank that I built with micros... Good times!!

Thanks guys! These were 24" and 27".... The 24 was caught on a Strike Pro baby buster and the 27 was caught on a 4" rootbeer gold Gulp. Didn't weigh either one... We caught limits of trout and reds on thursday and saturday. Went looking for snook on friday, but it wasn't happening... Mama wanted fish for mothers day, so these were released to the grease!!

Doug, Kyle told me that I couldn't get to Arroya City from here...being a fellow Ag, I believed him! Seriously, NICE fish!! Limits are cool, espec. on a custom rod w/ a couple of big girls in the mix. I'm hoping to hit the upper laguna next month. Kyle, I bet you guys ate well!!
