This is is one of my Ball & Chain Rods that I had fun with some Tri Mar White/Gold, HT Red, and Blk with 15lb PLine over the top with bloodwood/maple accents
The purple rod is a LamiglasIS703 from Mudhole with purpleheart/maple accents. The wood color was preserved with Flexcoat CP before the epoxy was applied. The use of the wood on this rod was mainly used to help balance the rod to the customer with iut adding additional weight in the butt.
Looks goood Rusty! I am doing some to put out in the field to see how the mono wraps hold up in use....only with close friends of course incase it doesn't hold up! lol
You know, the inventer of the tiger wrap should be commended over and over again. And probably is. It is an inexpensive alternative and you still get something that is truly one of a kind because I doubt that any two are just alike. A diamond wrap is a diamond wrap is a diamond wrap. No matter how many you've done it is still a diamond wrap. But a tiger is different each time. Even if you have to do them all the same color they are still different. I wonder, does anyone know if it were discovered by accident or not?
