I made this one a little while back...... Thought I'd post it up.

It is a 6'6" med/light bait caster (my wading rod)

That was my first..... If you can't tell I'm might be just a little bit anal....lol

But all things set aside.... it might have been my first build, but my father has been building rods for 35 years or so, and I've seen him make more rod than I can count. So I'm sure that had a lot to do with it.

Trey, your rod very similar to my first one, I did black with silver metallic trim bands and my cross wrap only had five black, four silver and I did a one piece handle.

You did a nice job.

Just alittle bit anal huh!. My 1st rod had gold tape near the guides or some junk like that, that you were suppose to do a spiral wrap on. Your first is beautiful though. I hope you got to keep it.

Yes I got to keep it.... I've only used it a couple of times, to test it out and now it is retired for memory purposes. If you know what I mean.
