Another Knick Knack


Lance asked me if I could do a CoonAss weave pattern for him. I said "coonass?" what the heck is that!? He said "google it" LOL  this is what I found.

This is just the test run but I thought I'd put it on a glass & give it to him so he can see the exact size of the completed weave. Would like to do it again but I won't have time before the Expo so I guess this one will have to fly for now.

Still gotta add the black trim on the bottom & CP & epoxy.

Thats way cool. How the heck did you do that? I guess you chuck that in your rod lathe or am I wrong! I'm impressed!!!

Rusty,
If you look close you can see the wooden thread spool still hot clued to the base. I run a piece of scrap blank from my chuck into the hole of the wood spool and then put a eva piece into the inside of the glass with another piece of scrap blank. I mount my Wonder Weaver loom on both sides and go to town.
