I enjoyed the meeting today. I am looking forward to more activities with the club. Terry, i need to fill out the form to join the group and pay my dues. I can drop by FTU this week after work. Heck, while there I'll probably drop another $100 on another Loomis blank or some more supplies.
I know of a few buddies that may be in the Mar 13 class, one for sure and two maybes that will probably end up being there (I told both to formally make a reservation asap or time will run out and they'll have to wait).
Pat, I am volunteering my time to work on some of the rods for soldiers. Of course I don't have a wrapping station yet and need to buy another dryer (I am going to build a wrapping station with some scrap wood in my garage this week or next) but I can drop by one Saturday or Sunday and do the leg work on many of the rods and leave the high builds for the experts for now. see you guys in a few weeks.
Brad As soon as I get back from the ICRBE show I hope to have a bunch of components and blanks. I will be recruiting some guys to build some rods. By that time you will probably have a few behind you and ready to step up. You seem to learn fast and I suspect that you will turn into an excellent rodbuilder. Pat

Brad,
I built my wrapper out of oak.... and I would be more than happy to show you how I made it. After buying all the supplies it only cost about $30 to make. Here is a picture of what it looks like.
Trey You did a great job. Looks better than mine. I will get with you when I get back from the ICRBE show. I hope to get some good deals on components while I am there. Pat
