Deckhand style live-bait rod. Back in the day I built quite a few of these. But this one is a recent build.

i like it, i normally dont go for green much but from the picture it comes off looking like Chinese or emerald green and the weave is super but is the little things around the fish weeds or bait fish cant really tell.

and how long is that butt/handle section?

The weave is a Doc Ski pattern "Yellowtail in Kelp" that I modified some by adding more kelp and adding my name.

Handle is about 28 inches from butt to turkshead if I remember
