I was in contact w/ Lance Dupre(Swampland) last night. He said they were fine. He got power restored on Sunday and postal service yesterday. He said Bill, up near Baton Rouge, will be w/o power for 7-10 more days. I'm pretty sure they don't need anymore rain over there! I hope Ike takes a hike WAY south, like south of the Tex-Mex border.
I've been wondering how they came out....Bill's been very quiet so i figured he was still dealing with something. Looks like Ike is going straight into the middle fo the coast! Debbi has about had it for living on the coast...all of these back to back wears on you!
Yep looks like the Matagorda boys are going to have their hands full with this one! We're still in the cone and at it looks like we're going to catch the dirty side of this SOB here on the Galveston Bay system.
