Batson was one of the first manufacturers that jumped on the band wagon. They already sent Pat 2 complete rod kits for the RFS's program and have just sent me a complete rod kit as a door prize for the Rod Show in September. It's not just a popping blank either...its one of their brand new, RX8 Titanium Chrome Bass blanks they just released. It is a XMB843 that retails for $110 and came with the reels seat, guides, tip top, winding checks, hook keeper and all! He also included 30 hats and 50 of their new 2008/9 catalogs!

It is our pleasure to donate items for a worthy cause. I grew up in a rod shop and know what it is all about> My father started this company as a custom rod builder back in the late 70's (Phantom Custom Rods on Maui). I also owned and operated a small custom rod shop to suppliment my income while working in this industry (Wild Bills Custom Rods). We all have a great passion for this Industry/Art and will continue to support it for generations to come>>
