I am working on the newsletter and am looking for some help with articles and suggestions.
Here are some suggestions on contributing articles...

Article on why they are excited about the club 

The rod building in your area

The Veteran Rod PRogram or specifically the current rod being built...backgroud and who its for.

New or interesting Rod Building techniques

The Doyle Rod Show

I am also very interested in getting prominent prople like Mr Wally. Putter, Ski, Bill Batson, Andy Dear, etc to contribute articles and info.


Let me know your ideas!!!

Terry,
I'm the Newsletter Editor for another organization called Rod Builder's International (RBI). Attached here is the first newsletter that I sent. Maybe you
can get some ideas from it. (especially the "editors notes")

I wrote it using MS Word and then converted it to PDF so everyone could open it.

I would be happy to assist with the TRB newsletter too!

Especially since RBI might be dissolved. I have not heard about any significant forward movement since right after the ICRBE last Feb. and much of the membership is very disappointed. I understand many will not be staying on.

Thanks Raymond, that is great input and yes, I could use your help witht he newsletter! I would like to talk with you more about RBI too.

The tutorial at the end...great explaintion of weaving basics..could you post the whole thing at the Vault?
