Terry, that is what it looks like, but then I never kept mono long enough for it to crack
so I'm not positive

sure got me stumped ,here is a complete rebuild and a different mono .
.
picture really suck but i was trying to show left side and right side and the color switch from "gold met" and yes it looks like silver and "red met".
comments ?
