Butterfly wrap

I did this wrap this morning and it just doesn't seem right. Should I make it a closed wrap or trim it with another color besides the burgundy? It is basicly going to be a burgundy themed rod. The RFS weave is going to stay and I plan to wrap the guides with burgundy and sunburst. Do I need to cut it off and start over? Maybe a silver or gold thread outside the burgundy or maybe a sunburst thread. Antway it doesn't look good to me, maybe I should stick to weaving.

Personally, I think it looks great as it is, I'm envious.

I wouldn't cut it off. I think you should go ahead and fill in the burgundy and maybe put a thin band in the middle of the burgundy. Looks good to me!

Looks good, Pat. I'd close it w/ the burgundy, if it were me. No cutting it off for sure!

Pat I Would Remove The Burgandy, Add One GoldThread Then Add Your Burgandy Back On And One More Gold Thread. Then You Would Have A Butterfly That Is Boxed In As A Diamond. Very Classy I Would Say.
