I just started tying my own crappie jigs, since I have a ton of feathers and scrap fur around my house.... Let me warn ya....it is also "addictive" !!....

Those look pretty deadly, Mary Lou!! I like that style of hook. It looks like it could handle the occasional bass that's hangin out uninvited on the brush pile. I usually fish minnows if I'm going for crappie. Usually only fish jigs if they're biting so good on minnows that I start to feel guilty for cheating!
