Things are looking good

The RFS program is doing very well. I have added police and firemen to the program. So far I have built and shipped 11 soldier rods and 2 firemen rods. My fishing buddy that died in September was a rodbuilder and his wife gave me all of his leftover components for the RFS program. I got a message from Don Savage of Savage Rods and he is sending me six rod blanks and some misc. components. I built several rods and sold them for Christmas and donated a percentage of the money to the program. I received $50 from a friend for the program. The program is well funded for the time being but we will have to come up with some ways to make money if we want to keep it going. I intend to keep it going as long as I can.

Are you shouldering all of the building as well Pat? If you already have rod types & specs can some of us build and send them to you? shipping would only be one way unless several members work on the same rod and even then multi-piece rods don't break the bank.
