Just to let everyone know, I am taking care of the Rods for Soldiers program. I sent out 8 e-mails today to manufacturers, suppliers, and sporting goods chains. Should start receiving some response in the next couple of days. I have also been in contact with Cajunbob of takeasoldierfishing.com. He has 6 wounded soldiers going on a fishing trip on the 19th of July and I would like to fix him up with some rods. If we don't get any response on component donations in time I have enough stuff for 3 rods that I will use. I may need some more stuff and I will definitely need some one to help build. If anyone can build a rod or two let me know. If we don't get components in time I will post up again and hopefully some of you can find some stuff. I am going to build a rod for the Take a Soldier fishing fundraiser on the 12th of July to be raffled or auctioned off. I sent out some more e-mails today. I have not received any response on someone to help build these rods.

I put 15 letters in the mail today to manufacturers, suppliers and retail sporting goods stores.
I have received response from Bill Batson, he is sending 2 rod kits, Decal Connection they are sending some fish decals, and Pflueger they promised to send some reels. I will need someone to help build some rods. There are six soldiers going on a trip on the 19th. I have enough stuff in my own stock to build at least two rods, I may need someone else to loaned some stuff and build some rods. I have started a rod for the fundraiser on the 12th. I have the grips shaped and flocked and I have the glue still on my hands to prove it. Ok guys e-mail me or call me.
