I will be going to Ft. Drum, NewYork on June 20th to present two soldiers with rods. These two soldiers both received the Silver Star and a Purple Heart. One soldier lost his left leg. I will be going to Ft. Bragg, North Carolina July 6th to present one rod to a soldier that has lost both legs and is still on active duty.
Next May I will be joining Mark Ballard founder of Freedom Isn't Free Veterans Hunts to co-sponsor a fishing trip to Matagorda Bay for about 8 or ten soldiers. We plan to do a yearly outing for soldiers. We may start doing one fishing trip and one hunting trip each year.
