Fishing Fiesta

I will have a booth at the Freeport Fishing Fiesta next week on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If anyone can help even for a few hours please give me a call at 979-418-9093. WE are going to raffle off another rod and it helps if we have two people working.

Thank you.

Pat

Any of you that can make it to the Fishing Fiesta come by and see me. Maybe you can give me a bathroom break.

First day was slow. Fiesta not officially open until Friday. Sold about $80 worth of tickets. Had to hire a young man to help me set up but I paid him out of my pocket.

Have a nice shady spot close to the band stand. There is a constant breeze so it is not uncomfortable. Plenty of food vendors,Greek food(gyros, Greek salad, and the biggest fresh fried potato chip bowel you have ever seen). I have a big jug of sweet tea with me and lots of prettyu girls to watch.

be careful out there Pat, i was out Monday for just 3 hrs and got a heat stroke and i was partly in the shade and drinking fluids.

scared the hell out of the wife but i knew it wasn't like my normal strokes .

i feel bad that you had to do this gig by yourself i had initially though of trying to make it down there but i knew i could not make it .

I am doing fine Terry. I have a nice shady spot and the wind is pretty steady. I have my ice chest and a gallon of sweet tea. I got my fill of tejano music last night, don't care if I ever hear another tejano song but other than that I am doing pretty good. Lots of pretty girls to look at.

I finished up the Fishing Fiesta a little early. We did pretty good, a little over $500 worth of tickets were sold. The winner was Michael Hobbs of Jones Creek. I also made some good contacts that may pay off in the future.

Now I am going to try to soak up 3 days worth of A/C and catch up on some sleep.
