Latest projects..

A UH themed rod to commemorate my dad. It is made from an old Fenwick SP903 that I refurbished and painted white.

This is a FTU blemish blank I made for my son's birthday. Aggie themed.

Any comments are appreciated.

Nice looking rods Dennis! Welcome to the Forum.

Tight thread-work too but I think you'd be happier if you re-evaluate your decal process.
I suggest you either use a clear backgound media or leave enough of the white background to wrap around the rod.

Thanks for sharing and again, WELCOME

Welcome, Dennis! As I said on 2cool, I think they both came out great overall.  Raymond, I made the decals for him on the white vinyl media. I would probably have left them rectangles and wrapped thread on each side, but the future Aggie looks happy w/ what he got. I can't remember how much border that I gave him. You're right, clear should have been an option, and I should have mentioned that, especially w/ the white blank. Here's the old school UH logo when his dad was there. You won't find these anywhere.

Raymond, when you mentioned that the decal should have been wrapped around the blank, it was a true light bulb moment. I'll definitely know for next time. Thanks for all the suggestions and comments.
