All rods do not have a happy ending...!!furious.....I could not believe this happened after all the work I put into this handle and reelseat.....but S......Happens !!biggrin

From the start nothing went right...that should have warned me of what was to come ..furious

Just another OOPS !!!!...biggrin

I hope you can salvage that somehow. It would be ashame to waste that beautiful skin.

I was not able to save the skin or handle...,..I replaced the handle and skin with a western diamondback ....and a new reelseat...

Sometimes it just doesn't pay to get out of bed !!...biggrinbiggrin
