Mornin Mary Lou, what's new in Weatherford? One good thing about the heat and minimal rain. The grass isn't so thick when it's time to mow. Mine has gotten pretty dry lately and I'm not sure I want to water it. I'll have to unless we get rain this week.

Mornin'Guys....
Yes, the grass is not growing, but I have ten acres, and I keep three acres cut...because of fire and rattlesnakes...
With the heat, high wind...we are under a burn ban, as is most of Texas...
Jim...with that new storage building, are you going to move everything out of your garage and use your garage for rodbuilding..??

Mornin' Doug....biggrin

Morning everyone! It looks like that tropical depression is going to move into south Texas so we should get some good rain out of that. My grass is like weeds, it'll grow 6" in a week...we almost have to mow every 5 days...

I would love to turn my garage into a workshop...I am working on plans now.

Mary Lou,rod building will still be in the #3 bedroom, but all the lawn equipment and related stuff goes in the shed. That should free up alot of garage space for hobby stuff(lathe, table saw etc.) They had a small problem with one of the doors, but they're supposed to come today for repairs. They don't get the rest of their money until it's finished. I'll have to get a little shelving and some ramps before I start moving in but I'm not in a big hurry.

I hope you can still make it too, but yes, you need to be looking to the Gulf right now!

I would love a watermelon myself!

The weather outside doesn't matter unless you have to get out in it. Being retired is a wonderful thing. The coffe is extra good this morning.
