Action Weaves

Well had to take a break from a new action weave so thought I would post some of my action stuff.  I am going thru them alphabetically unless someone has special requests.

Doc, those are INCREDIBLE!  Those are some of the best weaves I've ever seen. I love the action, colors...everything. Normally I have a few favorites but I like ALL of those. We appreciate you sharing them sooo much!

Thanks both Jim and Terry.  I love sharing the pics with you but dont want it to appear I am taking over the site.  Thought maybe I would generate some interest and get some others started.  I love weaving most of all the artistic techniques used in rod building and I know them all.  I thing I like it because it is so time consuming so when it is done there is a huge sense of accomplishment pluss they are like pictures.  It is sometimes amazing to see the results.  I just dont want to seem arragant.  Everyone is capable of doing this stuff and it isnt that hard but the work is time consuming.  The one I am working on now I have to stop every hour or two to clear my head and I have been working on it for 3 days.

Here is some Crappie for Jim. One old and one new.  The old one is actually only a single layer.

I saw the single layer one in an earlier post and thought 'man that sure looks like a crappie". But I thought naaah, thats some kind of west coast inshore fish. L.I.B, it was a crappie. The very first weave that I ever saw in person was a crappie weave incorporated into a fish crosswrap that was colored to mimick the crappie colors. That was about 20 yrs ago and I still like that wrap.
